Foundations exists to encourage families through worship, practical skills and the teaching of God’s word. We strive to do this through Christ-centered, family-focused events.

Led by a core group of members from our church, the Foundations Ministry began in 2016 and was officially established by Faith Baptist Church in 2020. These married couples are supported by additional members who help in the ministry. The Foundations team orchestrates Family Camp as well as the Couples Retreat, with plans to expand into other opportunities. Please be in prayer for this ministry.
Bowing in Worship
Worship is essential. It is the natural response of the believer to the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-present God of the universe. We strive to incorporate worship into every event through singing, praying, and hearts turned toward God in praise.
Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Growing in Wisdom
God’s word places a premium on wisdom. We encourage families to apply wisdom in spiritual matters as well as in day-to-day life. It is our desire to see godly men and women imparting the wisdom God has given through the teaching of practical skills.
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Building on the Word
The word of God is the foundation of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. It is the rock on which we base our decisions and build our lives. The precepts and principles of the Bible are central to every plan, every event, and every decision.
For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
